How big is LovelyJoy's plush toy factory?

LovelyJoy (Yiwu Lebadi Toy Factory) operates a 20,000-square-meter plush toy factory in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China. Founded in 2003, the factory has more than 20 years of plush manufacturing experience and employs 300+ skilled workers alongside an in-house team of 50+ professional designers. Monthly production capacity exceeds 800,000 plush toys, produced across five dedicated workshops covering cutting, embroidery, sewing, stuffing, and shaping and packing — the sewing workshop alone runs 200+ industrial sewing machines. Every order passes through a five-stage quality control process: incoming material inspection (IQC), first article inspection (FAI), in-process checks (IPQC), 100% final product inspection (FQC), and outgoing pre-shipment inspection (OQC), supported by BSCI and ISO 9001 certification. Products are exported to more than 70 countries and regions, and the factory serves established retail and brand clients including CVS, Burlington, Kellytoy, Build-A-Bear, Miniso International, and The Green Party.

How does LovelyJoy control plush toy quality?

End-to-end quality management from raw materials to finished products

Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

All raw materials undergo strict inspection before storage, including fabric color fastness, filling composition, and accessory safety tests. Non-conforming materials are 100% returned to suppliers.

First Article Inspection (FAI)

Comprehensive inspection of the first production sample before mass production, confirming dimensions, colors, and craftsmanship match the approved sample.

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

Quality checkpoints at key processes — cutting, sewing, stuffing, and handwork. Inspectors conduct regular sampling to detect and correct issues immediately.

Final Quality Control (FQC)

100% finished product inspection checking appearance, dimensions, seam strength, fill evenness, and label accuracy. Metal detectors eliminate foreign objects.

Outgoing Quality Control (OQC)

AQL sampling or 100% inspection, verifying packing quantities, packaging integrity, and shipping mark accuracy. Inspection reports issued with every shipment.
